Developmedica attend Cardiff Deanery's 'Medical Careers Information Day'

Near the end of last month, on Saturday 24th October, Developmedica was in attendance at the Medical Careers Information Day held by the Cardiff Deanery at Cardiff University which was aimed at prospective medical students and early career doctors.

Developmedica presented a range of enthusiastically received talks to those in attendance, including such topics as: presentation skills, teaching skills, time management and building your leadership and management profile.

Relationship Manager, Paula Duriez, expressed her satisfaction with the interest shown in Developmedica’s range of products and services: “Even in the beginning stages of your medical career it is vital that one is already thinking of and preparing for the future which is part of the message we were trying to deliver today. It’s also a pleasure to talk with medical students and recently graduate doctors about their career development and learning needs and this weekend was a great success.”

Developmedica is grateful for the opportunity to have been invited to attend by the Cardiff Deanery and look forward to further talks and presentations around the UK in the future.

Developmedica to attend upcoming 'A Career In Cardiology' Conference

In the upcoming year Developmedica are proud to have been invited to attend ‘A Career In Cardiology’ conference being held at the Birmingham Hippodrome Conference Centre on Friday 26th February 2010, which focuses on the Cardiology ST3 application process.

A comprehensive one day course for all research fellows, junior and middle-grade doctors aspiring to become recognised Cardiology Trainees, Developmedica will be attending the event and delivering a number of talks about succeeding in the ST3 selection process.

Mr. Matt Green, as the founder and Managing Director of Developmedica, the leading non-clinical support service for doctors in the UK, has helped hundreds of doctors successfully apply to posts since 2005. Consequently, due to his unique experience, he is the one non-clinical participant selected as part of the six-person panel to discuss interview techniques as part of the ‘Optimising your performance at the ST3 selection interview’ workshop. He will also be delivering a talk on ‘Enhancing your CV and completing the application form for maximum impact’ earlier in the day.

Mr. Green had the following to say about the event: “Developmedica as a company has been at the forefront of offering non-clinical support to doctors for several years now, and as part of that we are proud to have helped numerous doctors progress to that next stage of their career. The ST3 selection process can be a daunting process but I’m interested in helping our future Cardiologists through it.”
